My personal plan and goals for 2023
A Strong Body Makes The Mind Strong— My cheat codes for life.
I am currently on a journey of experimentation and learning, whether it be in investing or in my health and wellness. I am just beginning this journey and am excited to see where it takes me.
I have recently begun analyzing my bloodwork and will be sharing my results, along with before and after photos, by the summer. I am also experimenting with different supplements and will report if they had any meaningful impact on my health.
After experiencing a period of severe illness, lasting for 2-3 months in late 2022, where I thought I was dying, I now feel like I have a new appreciation for my health. I have struggled for years to improve my health, but this year feels like a major step forward in my personal growth. I am optimistic about my ability to continue making progress and have discovered a few promising cheat codes that may help me achieve my goals. This might be a year I level up!
GYM and Exercise
Despite working hard for years, I have pretty much made all the mistakes you can make with no significant results. If I could go back in time, I would hire a personal trainer to start things off.
The key to achieving your fitness goals is to find something that you enjoy. If you don't like going to the gym, that's okay - plenty of other options are available. Consider trying different types of exercise such as crossfit, spinning, or calisthenics. The important thing is to find something that you enjoy and what makes you feel good. This is the only way to sustain your fitness routine long-term.
No matter what form of exercise you choose, whether it be walking, biking, crossfit, spinning, calisthenics, or weightlifting, I salute you for making an effort to challenge yourself daily. Keep in mind that the most important part is that you have to enjoy it, so don't be afraid to experiment and try different things until you find the perfect fit for you.
You probably aren’t a bodybuilder or an Olympic athlete… → Set realistic goals.
I followed pro bodybuilder routines… Yeah, a nice challenge, but it just won’t work if you work +50h workweeks, sleep 5-6h, eat whatever, try to raise two kids… Hopefully, I can try something extreme like this when I can focus 99% on bodybuilding and see what kind of results I can achieve.
I have tried almost all the routines. Try out, and discover what you enjoy doing and what fits your lifestyle the best. Full body workouts 3x week? Push and pull? We are all different, what works best for you might not be the most scientifically optimal regime, but is it such a big deal? You are always winning no matter what kind of exercise you do.
I lift weights 5x a week for 30-40 minutes, classic bro split, one muscle group at a time. Definitely not optimal by no means, but it feels like it is working very nicely in my current lifestyle.
I can focus that 30min fully on training. I really focus on the muscle, I did years just by going through the motion…
I love going to the gym, so this way, I can go there almost every day. I have built my own gym in my storage.
I like to train very intensively, with 30min it is possible to really push some sets to the extreme limit.

Awesome little personal trainer, stops the overthinking and second-guessing just do it. Workouts are never the same, and it tracks progress nicely. Highly recommend this if you have a hard time picking routines and figuring out what movements to do. This also forces you to push harder.
Food
I am currently on a keto diet. I like it a lot:
+ Forces you to eat clean food. You have to cook almost everything. Please support your local farmers and order food directly from them! Massive game changer for me.
+ My stomach works a lot better.
+ I don’t feel so hungry all the time even though I run on deficit.
Typical day: around 1800-2000kcal
Breakfast: Black coffee
Lunch: Mainly just meat/chicken + spinach and olives.
Dinner: Mainly just meat/chicken + spinach and olives.
Snacks: A lot of eggs and a few nuts.

Very nice, simple & clean app to track. My plan is to stay in KETO for 3 months and then 2 weeks with carps and then back to KETO. Let's see how long I will keep it up!
Cardio
I do around 15-20k steps a day. I walk or do relaxed jogging every night for 25-40min depends how my body is feeling. I do it in the evening after getting the kids ready for bed, which is not optimal. I will try to add jogging in the mornings once my work/life balance is more balanced.
Work/life
My current business has been extremely taxing for a few years since I was heavily affected by covid. Impossible to plan anything, and impossible to hire anybody since there was no clear picture of what will happen in the future. I had to do the job of 5-6 people and slept during summer only three nights at home. Had to work the whole of autumn sick with a fever (some throat infection). I was also mentally extremely depressed my whole life's worth of work went straight to the toilet, it just started to print money massively and the trajectory was up only and making competitors irrelevant. I still could not have done anything better, even with the time machine so I am fine with it. I am also 10x mentally more confident and stronger after this, so now I start to see this as one big win. I can also get more out of my obsessive nature and direct it to more productive ideas.
—> Cut 80% of customers and focus on the 20%.
—> Cut 80% of products and services to focus on what matters most.
—> I build the business to be extremely dependent on me 100% of the time. Now I do the opposite, making myself irrelevant. Sure my income goes down but here in Finland, it does not matter do you make 20k or 50k or 200k a year, just more misery.
—> Once I make myself irrelevant, I will focus on building more business that is not location dependent and does not consume me 24/7.
—> It is ok to be average, even average is enough to win in today’s world, 99% just quits after 7.5h. It's okay to be ok.
—> Spend more time with family, work less and less, eat clean, read more and sleep over six hours.
No alcohol
When covid started, I quit alcohol, it would have been a spiraling mess if I would have started to relieve my stress with that… Instead, I started to take cold showers and go swimming during the winter. I was one year off, then again drinking here and there, and during this massive shitshow that my last summer and autumn were, I started to relax again more and more with a few beers here and there and totally nuke it when in weddings/parties, whatever.
Life without alcohol is wonderful. For me, it works like a dream.
+ No fog in the brain. My brain works a lot better feels like I got some achievement or level up and unlocked 20-40% more.
+ Sleep a lot better even when just 5-6h.
+ 10x better recovery.
+ Exited almost about everything.
+ More time with my family.
+ I smile and talk to other humans! I don’t even need to be totally wasted to be able to talk to strangers. Not just thinking everybody is full of shit and stupid. There is love and kindness in everybody.

No debt
Being debt free is one of the most underrated things you can do, it is freedom and peace of mind.
+ More options to do whatever. My wife wanted to study again at an older age, no problem, go for it! Maybe I want to study or quit my business and do something else? What’s stopping me?
+ Minimalist lifestyle and low expenses (once debt free, you will do whatever to not drop into that trap again).
+ Can invest a lot more comfortably.
+ No need to check my bank account all the time, do I have enough for loan payments, and no need to track credit card expenses.
+ No more living on autopilot. Almost everything in my life and business revolved around servicing the debt. The constant need to get a better car, a bigger house, better this and that. No “thinking outside the box,” only thinking, can I sustain and service my debt?
+ Without debt payments, I can invest and save a lot more.
+ Less stress.

Stack them, sats!
No post without Bitcoin. Proof of work is the name of the game, it is what sets everything apart in life.
Exploring the world of Bitcoin is like going on a crazy adventure. It's not about making money and getting rich fast, but about learning and discovering something new. Bitcoin is a beautiful, hard-working digital apex predator asset that has proven its worth over the years.
Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme, and it's not a guaranteed way to retire early. It's a complex and ever-evolving system that requires dedication and knowledge to truly understand and make the most of it. It will reward those who take the time to learn and stay informed.
Join the journey and, who knows? This might be the start of something big, not just for your finances but also for your personal growth.
Thanks, I will update this in June/July and post the results.
